On one side of the spectrum of traction trucks we find fast and weaving locomotives, on the other side there were then sinks. The MUV 69 universal cart engine became the most famous Czechoslovak sink.
Sink is a generally small and light-duty vehicle used primarily for business people. Under them we can imagine the transport of people or material, or both at the same time, and ensure the gossip of railways. But once the battle trolleys were created, which served, for example, as a means of armored trains (the domestic example of such a vehicle is the Tatra T 18 armored trolley).
We can call the sinks as small, inconspicuous, but to work on large railway lines. In prehistoric times, the sink drive was powered by a non (catcher) or run (pkov) drive, which was usually a so-called inspection of the sink used for inspection and tram control rides. In such sinks, even hard-working members had to be so hard-working to ensure their propulsion.
With the development of automotive internal combustion engines, it was only a difficult time when the emergence of engine sinks. And first of all, the engine sinks also enabled meaningful transport of cargo, and later types were able to install various working mechanization.
In 1924, the Tatra saw an interesting personal (inspection) S 15 sink, in the first type largely derived from the Tatra 11 passenger car. boxer (2 wolves, 1,057 cc, 12 hp) and a carbon model body.
Sinks of the T 15 series were produced in gradually modernized versions with rigs and until 1952. In 1932 and 1938 it was the T 15/30, as it is called, with the Tatra 30 engine (4 wolves, 1,678 cc, 24 hp). .
And in 1942 (some sources uvd 1944) appeared type T 15/52 (4 wolves, 1,910 cc, 30 hp), which received the wolf body of the last version of the Hadimrky (Tatra 57b). As an interesting fact, we should mention that during the later reconstructions of the teeth and the time eaten by the sinks, these bodies were given from the then manufactured passenger cars, such as e.g. code 1202 STW.
In SD, these sinks were referred to as Dm 4 and Dm 6, ie motor sinks thymstn and estimstn.

From the same period, our bag will be of interest to the Tatra T 14 utility train, so it has been manufactured since 1924. At first it was a primitive flat carriage, in the first version again with an engine from the Tatra 11. And so there were the following types T 14/30 and finally T 14/52. Sttn drhy known them as Vm 14, Vm 14/30 and Vm 14/52, where Vm means engine truck.
Sink Vm 14 and Vm 14/30 did not arise much, both made a total of 45 pieces. The total production of the following type – Vm 14/52 – is estimated at three thousand pieces. A total of 586 of them were produced in Kopivnice from 1936 to 1954, most of them and after the wolf. In 1954, Stavostroj Trnava took over their production and terminated it in 1968.

In the last six years, the bag at the sinkmill Vm 14/52 was far from sufficient for one year. The volumes of rail transport in our country have grown significantly. And in connection with the darkness, the requirements for track gossip also grew. And the Vm 14/52 with a maximum specified speed of 35 km / h and the main load capacity of 4,000 kg was out of breath.
And so she had to drink the useful sink new. This will bring the horse to the essence of the legendary and most famous Czechoslovak sink MUV 69.

Type MUV 69 was preceded by attempts at a modern sink, which ended up in the prototype phase due to various flies. These were developed primarily as snow blower rails, but this is a detail, because we can imagine it as an ordinary sink with an additional device for snow throwing. The KSF 63 was established in 1963. Or at first glance an interesting piece was the MUV 67 sink with a cab from a 706RT truck.
We are able to classify MUV 69 as a universal universal truck from 1969, from the company Mechanizace traovho hospodárstv. And the MUV label became the muvka nickname.
It is a two-axle platform vehicle with the drive of both axles and equipped with a relatively large enclosed cabin in front. The truck is used to transport materials, people and so (often useful and especially) I have additional work equipment. The first is the versatility of the truck, where the help of additional equipment is modified to perform various types of repair and maintenance work on the railway.

The engine of the MUV 69 truck, originally designed, is an air-cooled series of Tatra 912 towbars from Praga trucks. There is also a clutch and a gearbox – a sophisticated mechanical power transmission, which is not a problem with small drive trucks. Compared to powerful vehicles, the MUV 69 logically also has a so-called reverse gearbox, so that it can travel in full directions in both directions.
MUV 69 can develop a speed of 60 km / h, the maximum allowed speed is 40 km / h. Load capacity depending on the design in 6,500 and 8,000 kg.
The MUV 69U short-gauge sink was created in those examples for a 760 mm gauge track.

The truck has proven itself in operation and has been manufactured and until 1992 in a total volume of more than a thousand pieces. Derived variants for several gauge gauges and for one wide gauge were also created in trace quantities.
The vast majority of MUV 69 products went to our national railway carrier, some crumbs also for export (GDR). After 1989, when other economic entities began to emerge in our country, even by separating from the original SDs, the number of MUV 69 users increased.
A number of trucks were delivered by the manufacturer with a mounted hydraulic arm, and a number of trucks were delivered to the trucks. The other main versions with the addition of the primary production were: mobile trolley modification, compacted trolley, snow blower and trolley for repairs of overhead lines.

MUV 69 reached a mass birth on our tratch and became important for the operation of railway infrastructure. Today, they are originally made two at their zenith.
During their operation, a number of modernizations were later implemented in various companies. At first, it was only a replacement for the drive unit (engine, gearbox) and a new cabin. For example, MUV 69.2 and MUV 69.7 were given Zetor, MUV 69.3 and MUV 69.5 Deutz engines or MUV 69.4 Avia engines (exact type specifications are not necessary for this moment).

Later modern expansions became known for a significant evolution with the creation of the Seven-Six Type. Such is, for example, MUV 74 called Supermuv from the Jihlava CZ LOKO leadership. Supermuv 74 is equipped with a CAT C 4.4 engine and hydrostatic power transmission. The maximum permitted speed has risen to 70 km / h. A digital system helps to determine the working speed from 2 and 10 km / h. The cabin is completely different from standard casings. The current next in the same series and with the same engine is the MUV 75. It is worth mentioning their yellow color, these completely modernized flours were thus colored back to the state we were used to with the working machines on our railways (red-feed color of the original From this point of view, MUV 69 represented a certain anomaly).
